It’s another warm day in Sydney, just sat through a class that related to Project Managing your Study. Interesting really though there is a lot of things that were touched on that people already do during normal day to day life.
An example would be buying a house.
Information Gathering->Implementation->Result
Information Gathering: Would consists basically of researching properties, locations, the funds you have, and anything else related to buying/owning a house.
Implementation:Would consist of putting all your information into play(looking at selected properties, getting funding, ect)
And lastly,
Result: Well you bought the house.
Of course that is a simplified version but the principle is the same in the end. If you set yourself a goal, make sure that it is clear, defined, and realistic in terms of reality. Don’t over extend yourself, cause you will feel drowned in a heavy workload.
I came across a table that looks like it will be very helpful in managing time for projects. It’s called a Gantt chart, it seem lke it will come in handy not just for study but also for management of other projects.
I hope that this simple information helps someone.
